To The Moon (TT) trading-Bots performance per April 2022

To The Moon (TT) trading-Bots performance per April 2022

Team To The Moon (TT)

One week later due to holiday. Overall (as we all might know) April was a very tough month for crypto. Bitcoin dropped about 17.3% and some other altcoins (like Cardano: -33.8%) performed even worse… This also reflects some of our bot results. Overall our bots suffered a loss of 15.5%. Off course, the biggest losses are shown in the bots with BTC basecoin.

Most of our bots only tried one or maybe two trades, therefore they were able to reduce the losses compared to BTC and other cryptocurrencies. But I’d like to focus on the three bots that really underperformed:

  • Spicy.Mama.Loves.Btc.b0t uses some sort of DCA technique to buy ADA. Because ADA is in a longterm downtrend, it closely follows ADA for those who invested in this bot a couple of months ago.
  • LNV.ToTheMoonRaker had two very bad trades in DOGE, in which the bot expected that the pump of this coin would last longer than just one day.
  • LNV.LicenceToThrill suffered a loss because of two bad trades in ADA and then got out of this traded sold ADA for BTC

We hope for better months in cryptoland!

To The Moon (TT) trading-Bots performance per March 2022

To The Moon (TT) trading-Bots performance per March 2022

Team To The Moon (TT)

Hereby our bot results over the past month. Overall March 2022 was a positive month in Crypto land. Bitcoin (BTC) gained about 5.5%, and most altcoins had an even greater return.
This can also be seen in our bot results. The most risky bots showed the highest rewards.

Most of the LNV bots with USDT basecoin had only one or two trades and were cautious when some altcoins soared. In situations like these, the LNV bots will not enter the current trend and will wait for the next opportunity. With the small retracement we saw yesterday, these LNV bots are ready to enter the market soon.

Popularity Poll: Bots Top-15, Q2/Q3-2021, 505 ratings by 152 users

This is the fourth post about bot “popularity”. It is getting a ever increasing long list. For now we have to stick to this long list of Bots and the Creators.
The approach for this poll has been reconsidered and does not specifically take into account the Risk Classifications (RC).

Unfortunately the RC is regarded of little practical use. One important reason being the fact that the RC is dynamic and can change over time, any time. It is an indication that requires some moths of in production. It is not a Bot Creator property but a RevenYOU dynamic risk indicator. So far there are no Bots available in the 3rd RC, Low (1-4) category.

We recommend to use this Poll-list in conjunction with How Crash-proof are Bots Creators bots poll, to judge your potential selected bots. And yes, it is a long list of BOTS-Names and ever growing. This means that you require additional selection and spreading criteria.
At this point in time,  that is after the 19 May 2021  BitcoinBitcoin crash, we can draw conclusions, not only about the Bot popularity and how the bots are valued by the investors, but also about the Bot Creator reputation.

The Top-15 Bots by 5 BOTS-Creators:

7 x (AB) Agga Team Bots,
2 x (BA) Boosting Alpha, 1 x (TN) The Noogieman™,
2 x (DE) Dembots,
2 x (AT) Altrady,
1 x (TT) Team To The Moon.

Compared to the previous post  Popularity Poll: Bots Top-15, Q2-2021, 350 ratings by 100 users  the Bot Creator share has slightly changed.
In total the 7  Bots out of the Bots Top 15, Agga Team Bots are in favour of our voters, both older but mostly relatively new Bots.
We have extended the Top-15 Bot Creators with the 15 most popular, out of the 40 year to date, publishers.

These 15 Bot Creators are responsible for 446  of the 505 recorded votes in this poll.
The graph below shows the Bots distribution over the Top 15 Bot Creator ranking.

Interesting to notice that the recently new series HODL the bottle top the “HODL the bottle top 35” and – 40  (Top 3 to 40) by Boosting Alpha,  now hold the 3th and 4th position whereas the 1st and 2nd position are now in Agga hands.

Dembots (DE) (aka (DT)) almost share their position with Altrady (AT) at Bots level.
Track This Out (TO) is out of the Top 5 and switched their position with Team To The Moon (TT). As you see still TT comfortable in the Top 15 that is closed by (AA).

Profile: Team To The Moon (TT), Bots-Creator

We are Stefan and Oscar and live in Voorburg, Netherlands.

I (Oscar) have a background in mathematics and actuarial science. Actuarial science has some common ground with econometrics. One of the elements within this education is to develop predictive models based on lagging indicators. Furthermore I’ve been working in the financial industries for over a decade. In this function I have been developing several models.
In 2014 we got familiar with cryptocurrencies and started mining several coins with our own build mining rig. However, after a while, this was not profitable anymore.

In 2020 we continued investing and trading a little bit in the crypto market. Firstly we were using several trading bots from other companies and also tried the BOTS platform as a client.
Because I am a developer and I like to have a certain control of my own strategies, I wanted to develop these strategies myself.
Firstly we developed strategies that were trading on our own account on the exchange. The disadvantage is that you can only use one strategy on your own account.

So this is where Stefan and I decided to start developing our own trading strategies to deploy on the BOTS platform and share our strategies with the world.
Our first goal was to develop a set of strategies to participate in the BOTS League, so this is where the idea comes from to start trading on single markets. When spreading your risk within a single bot, this also mitigates your upward potential (which can be undesirable in such a league).
So the bots that participate in this League have strategies that actually work pretty well on a single market.

Developing multi-coin bots will make the trading strategy much more complex, because a dollar invested in Bitcoin cannot be invested in another coin. Furthermore there can also be some interaction between several coins.

In the the coming months we will be working on several multi-coin strategies. In the coming weeks we expect the first multi-coin strategies on the BOTS RevenYOU platform.
